Fans and non-fans alike aren't going to be very happy with today's Twilight Saga news. Summit Entertainment has announced the final date for the last film in the franchise: 'Breaking Dawn Part 2'. The first part is due in theaters on November 18, 2011 and now the second part has been given a tentative release date of November 16th, 2012!
That's almost a 2 1/2 year wait! Non-fans will have 2 1/2 years to put up with the media frenzies and hype while the fans have to try to be patient for that long to get closure on their favorite franchise.
That's really a long span in between when you consider it will be an 18-month gap in between 'Eclipse' and 'Breaking Dawn Part 1'. Do you think fans will be able to hang in there and keep their excitement going for that long?
I wonder if that means we can expect to see remakes of the films somewhere around 2017? LOL!
