Remember how Lindsay Lohan was not in attendance at the Machete premiere the other day?
I thought that was because she was just trying to stay away from temptation and make sure to stay out of the limelight right now. But, the truth is that Lindsay may not have been the one to decide whether she went to the premiere or not. Rumor has it that the director of the movie, Robert Rodriguez, didn't want her there.
"He was frantically trying to track down her manager to make sure she didn?t go," says the source.
While a 20th Century Fox rep says it's "not true," the source tells Us, "She wasn?t welcome there."
Do you believe this story? I'm on the fence. On one hand I feel like most people in Hollywood believe that no press is bad press -- so if that were the case you'd think that Robert would've wanted Lindsay there. On the other hand, with everything that has gone down with her recently, maybe he's just playing it safe. What do you think?
