According to E!, Kara DioGuardi is still in limbo with 'American Idol'. She reportedly told them months ago that she wanted out, but they still haven't given her the official okay to pursue other options.
She went to Fox two months ago and told them she didn't want to do another season," a source tells me. "She's ready to move on. She did two years and thinks that's enough."
"It's frustrating because she can't even take any meetings...everyone wants to know what her schedule will be like, but she doesn't know," the source said. "What happens if Fox tells her they still want her for next season?"
When Kara told them she wanted off the show, Fox told her they'd get back to her.
What do you think of all this "drama" surrounding the new judges of Idol? In my opinion, I think they should just name them already and be done with it! If I were Kara, I'd be frustrated that they haven't given her the word one way or the other.
