Showtime is gearing up for yet another great new show. Emmy Rossum, William H. Macy and Allison Janney have been tapped to star in the drama "Shameless".
"Shameless" revolves around the Gallaghers, a working-class Chicago clan dealing with the recession. The mother is AWOL, and the alcoholic patriarch (Macy) usually ends up passed out on the living room floor, so their smart but unpredictable 18-year-old daughter Fiona (Rossum) is tasked with keeping her five younger brothers and sisters on the straight and narrow.
Allison Janney ("Juno") will play a love interest to William H. Macy's character. Also set to star is Justin Chatwin ("War of the Worlds"), who will play a car thief who falls for Emmy's character.
