Not having a steady job in years appears to be agreeing with Mischa Barton. The actress strolled around Miami Beach in a retro bikini this week, and while we find the high-waisted shorts to be uglier than her character on The OC, we must say: we're impressed by Barton's body. It's far less skeletal than it used to be: According to The New York Post, Barton has been telling friends her figure is due to “eating really healthy, keeping a mostly vegan diet and running." Mischa Barton posed for a Tyler Shields photo shoot the other day, and, well, you know how that goes. If you don't know how that goes, it goes ... weird. The former OC actress and waif is the latest to pose for the controversial photographer, who loves his female celebrity muses to get "artistic" or something. After a Mischa fan club in Brazil (seriously, that exists) kept asking him to do a shoot with her, Shields says he reached out, and this is what resulted: Possibly nude, Mischa Barton sees food for the first time since April. "I randomly met her friend and we talked about it a few days later this happened," he said. "She was amazing to work with. I cant wait to do it again." The world is a buzz over Mischa Barton's new reality show. I am actually really looking forward to seeing this girl get back on the right track. I mean - WHAT WENT WRONG? She's beautiful. She's talented. She's got a great body of work on her resume. It just doesn't make sense. The paps are starting to really follow Mischa around a lot which is a good sign that people are interested.
