Jimmy Fallon Gossip and News
Maybe Jimmy Fallon should have a cell-phone shootout to settle this thing instead. A former employee has filed a gender discrimination suit against Late Night With Jimmy Fallon and NBC,...

Jimmy Fallon is being accused of gender-based favoritism at work. Bu a guy. A fired staff member's suing Jimmy and NBC Universal for discrimination. In a lawsuit, Paul Tarascio claims he was dropped from his position as first stage manager at Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and replaced by a "totally incompetent woman." Tarascio thus accuses Fallon of "gender bias." Tarascio also alleges his replacement was "a less qualified woman" who constantly asked him how to do the job, and screwed up her stage manager duties. He claims other male staffers on the night owl program, such as audio technicians and a Prop-Master, were also replaced by women at Jimmy's request. Tarascio says the director said "Jimmy just prefers to take direction from a woman and "knowingly fabricated alleged performance issues" about Tarascio. Tarascio is suing for punitive damages and lost wages. Calls to Jimmy's rep and NBC Universal were not returned. It's unclear if anyone still works there. [Photo: WENN.com]

Jimmy Fallon, the host of NBC's Late Night, issued an apology to GOP Presidential hopeful Michele Bachmann over a song played during her visit to the program. "I'm honored that @MicheleBachmann was on our show and I'm so sorry about the intro mess. I really hope she comes back," a Tweet from Fallon's account said. As Bachmann strode on to the stage, the program's band, led by Ahmir "Questlove" Thompson, played a snippet of a 1985 Fishbone song called ... "Lyin' Ass Bitch." The tune starts with a distinctive "la la la la la la la la la" refrain, the only words that were audible before a smiling, waving Bachmann sat down for her interview. The song itself, which is about a relationship gone wrong, isn't political, and it's not clear if it was even selected with the Minnesota Congresswoman in mind. In any case, it repeats the refrain "Lyin' Ass Bitch" about a dozen times, and a lot of people weren't happy. Michele's campaign ...

Justin Bieber has sampled it. Nick Jonas has sang a few lyrics in concert. But no one has paid tribute to Rebecca Black's "Friday" quite like Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Fallon. The talk show hosts, who have agreed to be best friends for six months, collaborated on the track during Fallon's show last night. The performance (which included The Roots and Taylor Hicks) came after Colbert accepted Fallon's challenge to cover the YouTube smash if Fallon's audience came up with $26,000 to give to DonorsChoose.Org. Both sides came through with their ends of the deal, leading to the following hilarity: Stephen Colbert Sings "Friday"

Tiger Woods made a rare television appearance last night on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon - the golfer's first such interview since the late 2009 "incident." We don't have to get into Rachel Uchitel, the car crash and everything else. Fallon started off asking Woods what he's been up to the last year and a half. "Oh, nothing, nothing... Playing bad golf," the champion said, smiling. "From a comedian's stand-point and my monologue writers, thank you," Fallon said, speaking for all of us. "Your awful pain, we laughed at your pain." Even Tiger had to chuckle when Fallon added: "Not even making jokes, it kind of wrote itself. Balls, shaft, holes, foursomes ... it really writes itself!" Woods had a fairly good time after that, talking about his charitable foundaton, his recent top-10 finish and his bachelor pad/backyard golf course. Later, Woods, Fallon and Parks and Recreation star Amy Poehler demonstrated Tiger's new video game (ostensibly his reason for ...
