At the ripe old age of 24, 'What I Like About You' star Amanda Bynes has decided to retire from acting (of course I'm kidding about the "ripe old age" part :). She made this announcement via twitter, according to E! News (I can't read her tweets).
"I don't love acting anymore so I've stopped doing it," Bynes tweeted around 3 a.m. Saturday morning.
"Being an actress isn't as fun as it may seem. I've never written the movies & tv shows I've been apart of, I've only acted like the characters the producers or directors wanted me to play.
"If I don't love something anymore I stop doing it. I know 24 is a young age to retire," she wrote, "but you heard it here first I've retired."
Amanda has one movie in post-production called 'Easy A' with nothing else lined up. But I'm not sure how reliable a 3 am tweet is :)
Are you a fan of Amanda's? Would you miss her if she stopped acting?
